Thorough Septic System Inspections

Before buying or selling a home, have the property’s septic system inspected by the experts at Davis Septic Services. This service is often a requirement of the lender in such a transaction.

Our licensed and insured inspector will check out the inside of the tank to ensure no cracks or roots are present. The drain field will also be inspected to see that it’s taking in water and operating properly.

With aerobic systems, the inspector reviews and tests the mechanical parts and sprinklers to determine if the system is operational.

We bring 18 years of combined experience to every job we undertake. Veteran and military discounts are available.

Call us to schedule our services. Emergency services are available 24/7.

“A+ – highly recommend. They shoehorned me into their schedule and did a great job. Especially since my septic tank is difficult to reach.”

Septic Inspections FAQ

  • My new home has a septic tank, what do I do?

    - We can help you get a layout of the tank and drain field locations. We can also provide a full inspection either before or after you buy your new home. We’ll make sure you know how everything operates and help with any needed repairs. If it needs to be pumped out, we can help with that too!

  • Where can I find information on my septic system?

    - You can reach out to your county’s OSSF (On-Site Sewage Facility) Department to request information or permits. You can search for information here: https://www.tceq.texas.gov/permitting/ossf/ossfhomeowners.html

  • What is included in a septic system inspection?

    - When we inspect a septic system, we will pull the permit(s) that your county has on file to see the overall design and details. We will dig if needed and locate the tank to see what you’ve got in the ground. We’ll check the integrity of the inside of the tank as well as the functionality of any electronics or mechanics. We test the system for overall performance and can assist with any pumping or needed repairs.
